Teams

There will be a cut-off of 10 teams to start the draft; each team will have a name for his team before the draft starts.

Draft

The Draft will begin at 6:30 p.m., on September 1ST  2006 In the Conference Room at Bridgeport Service Center, and continue until all picks have been made. Each round will be the reverse of the previous round’s order (i.e. 1>10, 10>1, etc.). We will draw numbers to establish the first round draft order. (Bring 10 dollars to give the new commissioner)

NO one can draft a Quarterback from another team that the starter has already been drafted on another team.

Drafting Starters First Rule: You must first fill up your 7 starters slots before you are able to select your backups for the following positions:

QB, K, DEF.  (This will allow everyone a chance to fill their starting Line-up with quality starters in these key positions)

Rosters

Each roster will consist of the following:

·         2 Quarter Backs            1 starter           1 backup

·         4 Running Backs          2 starters         2 backups

·         4 Wide Receivers         2 starters          2 backups

·         2 Kickers                       1 starter           1 backup

·         2 defenses                     1 starter           1 backup

That’s a total of 12 players and 2 defensive teams.

Starters

Deadline for calling in starters is on Friday; Failure to call starters in by deadline will result in playing the last week starters.

You must contact JB either by email jmckenzie@cityofbridgeport.net or call 940-393-6550

Starting line-up Rule: You must play a team Quarterback, Kicker, and Defense.

You may play a mixture of a 4-0 rule for Running Backs and Wide Receiver slots only = 2 Running backs and 2 Wide Receivers, or 4 Running Backs and No Wide Receivers or 4 Wide Receivers and NO Running Backs or 1 RB and Three Wide Receivers or 1 Wide Receiver and three Wide Receivers.

NOTE: ANY MIXTURE AS LONG AS YOU HAVE FOUR STARTING PLUS THE QB, KICKER, AND DEFENSE.

Quarterback Rule: If during the game you’re starting Quarterback gets hurt or removed from the game you will receive his replacements points. If the Starting Quarterback cannot start during a scheduled game you can start his replacement.

Trades

Starting the third week, every 2 weeks or odd week after the start of the season, you may make a trade between Teams or from the UN-drafted players. The trades will be in order of last place team to first place. You can trade up to 12 players or 2 defensive teams.

Release Player/Defense Rule: A player or defense released by a team during trade week is classified as unavailable for selection until the following trade week. (Allowing everyone to see who has been released)

*Week 8 Middle of the season Trade Rule: When you send in your starters for Week 7, you must identify who your 7 Protects are. (These are the ones you want to protect from someone selecting them off your team).

  • Only teams in 7th, 8th,  9th and 10th place are allowed to trade this week (unless someone selects a player off a team that needs to fill a slot due to a BYE week)
  • In reverse order 10, 9, 8 , 7 place teams will be allowed to trade this week, they may select and player from the UN-drafted, released players or from any other teams open un-protected or backup squad. (Protected players cannot be selected)
  • There is a limit of 2 players from anyone team that can be selected. (No team can lose more than 2 un-protected players)

(This rule was added to help the 3 teams in the bottom positions a chance to select quality players that could result in them moving up in the ranking)
